Sweet Tea

Simple, smooth, and not bitter.

Ingredients

  • 4–6 tea bags (black tea)
  • 3/4–1 cup sugar
  • 8 cups water
  • Ice & lemon (optional)

Directions

  1. Bring 4 cups water to a simmer; remove from heat.
  2. Steep tea 8–10 minutes; discard bags.
  3. Stir in sugar to dissolve. Add remaining cold water.
  4. Chill and serve over ice with lemon.
