Buttermilk Biscuits

Classic fluffy biscuits with crispy tops.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self‑rising flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4–1 cup cold buttermilk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F. Line a sheet with parchment.
  2. Cut butter into flour to pea‑size crumbs.
  3. Stir in buttermilk just until dough comes together.
  4. Pat to 3/4‑inch; cut biscuits. Place sides touching.
  5. Bake 12–14 minutes until golden.
